Hi everyone! here is another set I made...the inside isn't finished because I plan on putting an individual saying in each one. I think the CS is SU Truely Thyme...or something like that. I could be mistaken, it's been awhile since I've used this color and these are just darling with the brass ornament charms. I really did enjoy making these...I should've expanded to six a set so I can mix and match if I decide to give them away as gifts or sell them...I'm thinking Etsy.....................................................but! we'll see. I've been doing some research and may start with ebay first...if anyone has any input I'd be glad to hear it :)
Okay all I have a busy day today so I hope you have a great day!

Getting A Head Start!

"Sending out quick shout out to those readers that have added my BLOG CANDY to their sidebars!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! YOu are all so awesome"

I got started early with some Christmas cards that I've been working on with some left over papers and embellishments that were just sitting there. I have a lot of scrapbooking supplies and stuff that I used to sell on ebay that are left ovr and now it time to start relinquishing them and clearing out my room. In the next few post you'll see what I've been doing with just scraps and left over :) Charms! Lots of charms...especially Xmas charms... :-P
I embossed the Sentiment in gold which set off the brass charms perfectly...the ribbon being a lighter shade brown/beige...I like to call "smooth latte".
The stamps I used were from the Little Paper Shop. It went perfectly with the style I was going for. Hope it tickles :)

My Sisters Magic Box!

Well I have to say when I saw this box I just had to make one...it wasn't easy but I got the hang of  it and let me tell it turned out a lot better than I could've ever hoped for. I made this one for my sister wedding shower and stuck a rolled up bill in the middle.

Here is the outside of the box. Now the box is quite small but perfct to hide money in :) The gold paper used were scraps from a pile I had sitting just waiting to be used.
Click on all the pics to enlarge for more detail.

The woman who inspired this box Elaine, has a website and for those of you who love surprise type boxes you need to check her stuff out. Here is the LINK-Magic-box

Here is the inside of the box once the lid is removed...the flowers are nicely bunched before it falls into a beautiful bouncy floral arrangment. I used the cuttlebug folder for a more elegant and subtle look considering the color I chose for the flowers. Each flower was paid much attention too so when you click on the photos you'll see all the detail work.

This picture allows you see the flowers fall away from the center. The center of each flower I used light great crystal rhinestones. The two shades of cardstock I used for the small flower really stood out nicely once I added the glitter.

My sister liked and let me borrow it to put it up on my blog. I had forgotten to take pictures of it before I gave it her. Now she is married as of Oct. 23rd. and is on her honeymoon. I'll be posting a pic or two of my DD and myself as we were bridesmaids at her wedding. I hope you all like the box as much as I do. This was in fact alot more work than I expected but it turned out beautifully....Dontcha think :)

Stamps: none
Paper: GP white, Brushed gold.
Ink: SU Ruby Red
Embellishments: Cuttlebug Folder, Rhinestones, MS Butterfly punch and leaf punch, Flower punches, Stylus, Redline tape, Pop dots, Glitter pen, Acetate

1 More Day!!! Anyone for some Blog Candy

Good morning all :) It's a beautiful sunny morning and wow what I a day I have today. Early afternoon appointment and then my busy day will go on until late this evening. With DD b-day and blog-aversary tomorrow, along with my sisters wedding this Friday I have too much to do, I still have to buy shoes :( Never mind my anniversary and two more b-day's that all land in the first week of November. I hate this time of the year...too much to do and then Christmas arrives to quickly...I barely have time to recoup.
I will have Blog Candy Posted Tomorrow!!! :)) I hope you all will check in and celebrate with me.
This card was CASED!! I saw it and loved it and had to make one just like it to see if I could actually make it it look like hers. Here is a LINK to he original on SCS. She's got some awesome cars in her gallery. The only thing different I did was eliminate the ribbon and used stickles glitter for the tree as apposed to color. I loved making this that I have come up with a few more of my own and will post them sporadically throughout the next couple of weeks.
Well I hope everyone has a great day :) Time for me to get on with the rest of my day :)
Card Recipe:

5 more days...still thinking

I'm still thinking...I want to celebrate the day properly...It is my DD birthday as well...the countdown is on...I'm sure I'll come up with something this weekend that everyone will like and even might enjoy.

Yay! it's nice and sunny today..I suffer from seasonal depression and can't stand the winter because of this reason. I do have indoor day lighting and the whole deal but sometimes natural light is what I need to give me a happy boost...or a Rickards Red...I love my beer..lol...I like white wine as well but enough about all of that.
So this wedding card was a sample I made for a friend who was attending a wedding that was arranged and well it wasn't quite appropriate because of the sentiment...I didn't know it was arranged or I would have chosen different words for the sentiment. This was a difficult card even though it looks simple...but I loved he result in the end.

Til tomorrow :)

6 more days... :)

Hey everyone! So I've got 6 more days 'til my blog-aversary and I still haven't decided on what I'm going to do...I have a couple things in mind but nothing I'm willing to give away just yet....wow has it been almost a year...the day of my blog-aversary is also my DD 16th B-day so it might be a really busy day...lol...

So here is another Wedding/Anniversary card. I found this paper in my stash by Rusty Pickle...I've got lots of it actually I had forgotten that I had it and thought this would be beautiful for a universal card Wedding/Anniversary/Valentine's....It was however my intention to make a wedding card but it's such a simple card that it could be used for a lot of different occasions. Another card without a stamped image...Hope you all like it.

Have a great day :)

Lemon Lime Lemonade.....

That is what I see when I look out my front window. This big ole tree on my neighbors yard nearly covers our entire front yard in shade in the summer which is fantastic on those hot days. But when fall starts nearing and leaves start falling...they all tend to fall on our yard...the tree is really big and very yellow right now with some green towards the bottom where the sun can get too it...the sun is out and bright right now which makes it sparkle some from the rainfall earlier. I love fall....I just don't like how soon winter arrives after that.

I almost forgot that my blog-aversary is in a week...hmmmm....a Give-a-way sounds like a great idea what you all think :) Keep Checking Back !

Here is a card I made for a wedding...I actually made quite a few for people and these were some of them...tomorrow I'll post another one...click on the picture for larger view...the pic is still quite unexposed...I forgot to set the setting on my camera back to the original setting after my DD uses it. I apologize for the quality.
Until Tomorrow:)

Help! I need help organizing my stamp sets!

Hey everyone! Okay so I will be posting some cards this week but in the mean time I am organizing my stamp sets. I thought about cataloguing them on clear sheets by stamping them with Stazon ink so I know what stamps go with what set just in case one gets mixed up or lost in another set. I have bookcases but I have stuff on them...I was thinking about getting new bookshelves from Ikea so I'm able to add shelves as I go. Now my small dilemma is whether or not to catalogue the actual stamp sets alphabetical or by category. I figured that if catalogue the sets on clear sheets it would easy to just go and find the sets, but then I thought about space and time. Easy means fast...easy means less time...equals a good plan...lol...which I don't have...lol...
I have to start with my SU sets first then I can figure out my clear and unmounted sets.

Pictures are appreciated and ideas to keep cost down will help also.

Help me please :(

Thanks All
